Jake helps individuals and families make thoughtful financial decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and reduce the stress that can come with managing finances. He believes good planning starts with understanding what is truly important to each client–not just financially, but for the life they want to build.
By taking a comprehensive view of a family’s finances, Jake helps clients focus their attention on the decisions that can have the greatest impact. Ultimately, he wants clients to know that the important financial pieces are being addressed so they can spend less time worrying about money and more time focused on the people and experiences that matter to them.
Planning Specialty
Jake especially enjoys working with young families as they begin building their financial foundation. As retirement, education, and other goals start to compete for the same resources, he helps them step back, clarify what matters most, and make decisions that support their big-picture goals.
He also works with busy professionals and executives, particularly those navigating compensation packages, helping them understand how those benefits fit into their broader financial picture so they can make the most of what’s available to them.
His Approach
Getting to know a client’s story is an important part of Jake’s planning process. He wants to understand how clients arrived where they are today, what they value, and what they want their lives to look like going forward. Those conversations help him uncover what deserves the most attention and ensure the financial plan remains centered on the things that are genuinely important to the family.
Jake recognizes that reaching long-term goals often comes down to the everyday choices people make over time. He helps clients identify behaviors that may be working against them and make small, intentional changes that move them in the right direction.
